Job Description

We are currently seeking an Electronics Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and test modules and drives. The role involves testing and validating modules and drives, documenting results, and using engineering drawings and electrical schematics for validation. You will work in LabVIEW, performing functional testing, ICT, and probe testing across three product lines.


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic modules and drives.
  • Test and validate modules and drives, documenting results.
  • Use engineering drawings and electrical schematics for validation.
  • Perform functional testing, ICT, and probe testing using LabVIEW.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in electronics, troubleshooting, and electrical testing.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, modules, and soldering.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and work instructions in English.
  • Experience with electronic tools such as multimeters, volt meters, and current meters.
  • Knowledge of safe working practices up to 690VAC and 1100VDC.
  • Experience in module repair, including soldering and de-soldering through-hole and surface mount boards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate degree in electronics, electromechanical technology, or current enrollment in a related program.
  • 3+ Years of manufacturing or production experience.
  • Hands-on experience with LabVIEW testing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with small hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical assembly.
  • Experience with circuit board testing and troubleshooting to a component level is preferred.
  • Safety training and awareness around electronic and mechanical systems are advantageous.

Work Environment

The role is based in a very clean manufacturing facility and office, operating on the 1st shift with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The company offers numerous growth opportunities, visibility across various departments, and tuition reimbursement.
