Job Description
In this role, you will be assembling large pumps at our facility, using blueprints in a team setting to create and assemble water filtration pumps. This position involves 70% mechanical work and 30% electrical tasks, requiring skillful assembly techniques and a thorough understanding of design and basic mechanical principles.
Responsibilities
- Perform diversified assembly and erection operations for water pumping stations and component sub-assemblies to close tolerances and strict inspection requirements.
- Follow prescribed assembly procedures and recognized standard practices.
- Conduct skilled fittings of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units.
- Execute aligning, adjusting, and required secondary machining.
- Assign work, instruct, and check procedures for assemblers of lower classification and helpers.
- Work from complicated drawings and specifications.
- Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments and gauging devices.
- Supervise progress and check assignments; ensure final assemblies are inspected and tested.
- Minimum of 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
- Experience with pump assembly and heavy assembly.
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
- Experience with mechanical assembly and hand tools.
- Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications.
We offer a pay increase of $0.50-$1 per hour upon hire, with merit increases every January 1st. Employees have the potential to earn an end-of-year bonus of 6.5% of their annual salary. Our tenured assemblers earn $25-$28 per hour, and we provide opportunities for advancement to lead and supervisor roles.
Work Environment
Join our friendly team environment where everyone collaborates to maintain production standards. Our massive warehouse is climate-controlled and quiet, ensuring a comfortable workspace. The only required safety gear is eye protection. The role is on the 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with flexible hours and optional overtime available almost every weekend.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
