Job Title: Industrial Cleaning Technician
Job Description
The Industrial Cleaning Technician removes sand and debris from floors and equipment in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment using industrial vacuums, floor sweepers, brooms, and cleaning solutions. This role works in hot, dirty conditions and supports production by keeping work areas clean, safe, and operational across multiple departments and shifts.
Responsibilities
- Clean sand and debris from floors and work areas using industrial vacuums, floor sweepers, brooms, and appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Maintain cleanliness in core rooms, tanks, and other production areas within an industrial manufacturing plant.
- Work safely and effectively in very hot environments, often around 90 degrees, and in dark, dirty locations.
- Climb ladders and access large tanks and elevated areas to perform cleaning tasks at various heights.
- Follow a flexible schedule for the 2nd shift based on when production stops for the day, which may change weekly.
- Perform duties on 3rd shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning, or on 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., as assigned.
- Work 8–10 hour shifts and be available to work approximately two Saturdays per month as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all plant policies, including no cell phone use in the plant and no smoking during the entire shift.
- Use only the designated locker facilities provided and comply with all site-specific rules and procedures.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of required personal protective equipment, and report any unsafe conditions to supervision.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
