Job Title: 1st Shift Warehouse Associate
Job Description
The role involves picking manufactured and commercial items according to individual shop and customer orders, delivering these items to the appropriate assembly or shipping areas, and managing inventory with precision. The position requires a proactive approach to safety, equipment maintenance, and inventory management, ensuring optimal operational efficiency in the warehouse.

Responsibilities
- Pick manufactured and commercial items as per individual shop orders and deliver them to the designated assembly or staging areas.
- Pick and deliver items based on customer orders to the shipping area.
- Receive items from internal shop orders and accurately record receipts in the system.
- Place items in designated storage areas as per the computer system's instructions.
- Adjust storage areas to ensure safety and prevent damage, updating the system with new locations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on forklifts and perform daily inspections of handling equipment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Perform related site-specific duties as required.
- Execute shipping functions and request replacement supplies when necessary.
- Perform truck driving functions for pick-ups and deliveries between vendors and buyers when necessary.
Essential Skills
- Forklift operation and certification.
- Experience in shipping and receiving.
- Inventory management skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education, plus specialized training.
- 1-3 years of relevant warehouse experience.
- Mathematical skills for basic arithmetic and metric conversions.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and warehouse paperwork.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Comfort with working at heights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to perform truck driving duties as needed.

Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm. The work environment is dynamic, requiring attention to safety and efficiency, with a focus on proper handling and storage of materials.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Howards Grove, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
