General Production Worker
As a Production Operator, you will frequently handle bags of product. Your primary duties will include reading ingredients, counting bags on pallets, placing scoops in cans, sealing and stacking products as they come off the production lines, and ensuring proper bagging and dumping of products into the appropriate equipment.
Responsibilities
- Read ingredients and count the number of bags on pallets.
- Place scoops in cans, jars, or buckets and secure lids
- Stack and seal bags or cans of product from the production lines.
- Bag and dump products into equipment on production lines.
Essential Skills
- Ability to frequently lift 50lbs or more
- Proficiency in basic math including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Basic computer skills for inputting and retrieving information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment & Shift
This position is located in a food production facility where food particles may float in certain areas. Safety PPE is required. The facility operates three shifts, available right now:
3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
