Structural Drafter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Drafter to join our team, focusing on drafting for precast concrete projects. The role primarily involves working on commercial projects, including educational buildings, parking garages, and stadiums. The drafter will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings for each column, beam, wall panel, and other structural elements. Collaboration with engineers, drafters, designers, and clients is a key aspect of the job.
Responsibilities
- Draft detailed designs for precast concrete projects.
- Create shop drawings for columns, beams, wall panels, and other structural components.
- Collaborate with engineers, drafters, designers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in drafting software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with precast concrete and structural detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's degree in architectural drafting, mechanical drafting, or a related field.
Work Environment
- The role involves working in a collaborative environment with other professionals in the field. Candidates will use technologies such as Revit and AutoCAD to perform their duties efficiently.
This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
