Job Title: Warehouse Worker 1st shift $21hr
Job Description
This Warehouse Worker role serves as a key link between the Assembly and Coating departments by ensuring materials move efficiently and accurately between both areas. You will walk frequently throughout the facility, gather and organize materials, and support inventory control through both hands-on and system-based tasks.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Assembly and Coating departments by coordinating material flow.
- Walk between departments throughout the shift to gather, stage, and deliver materials as needed.
- Organize, label, and maintain materials in designated areas to ensure efficient access and workflow.
- Operate pallet jacks to move pallets and materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Use RF scanners to track materials, perform transactions, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform inventory adjustments in computer systems to reflect accurate stock levels.
- Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Support general warehouse tasks such as packing, staging, and organizing inventory.
- Learn and follow all safety procedures related to material handling and equipment operation.
- Potentially operate a forklift after being hired directly and completing any required training.
Essential Skills
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Hands-on experience with inventory handling and control.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment for inventory tracking.
- Ability to perform inventory adjustments in computer systems.
- Capability to perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Physical ability to walk frequently throughout the shift and handle materials as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift or willingness to learn after direct hire.
- Experience with packing and general warehouse operations.
- Comfort using basic computer systems for inventory and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail when handling and recording inventory.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Work Environment
This position operates on a first shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You will work in a warehouse and production support environment closely connected to Assembly and Coating departments. The role involves frequent walking between departments, regular use of pallet jacks, and RF scanners, as well as working with computer systems for inventory adjustments and cycle counts. The setting is active and fast-paced, with a focus on safe material handling and efficient movement of goods throughout the facility.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mukwonago, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
