Job Title: Warehouse Associate and Fork Lift
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate efficiently moves products through the warehouse to meet customer standards while maintaining accuracy, safety, and quality. This role includes receiving, picking, packing, inspecting, and shipping products, as well as tracking inventory using RF scanners. The position offers opportunities to cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and contribute to a positive work culture aligned with the organization’s vision, mission, and values.
Responsibilities
- Receive, pick, pack, inspect, and ship products to customers in an accurate and timely manner.
- Verify and process customer orders according to their specifications, ensuring the accuracy of all shipments.
- Track and manage inventory using radio frequency (RF) scanners to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Meet key performance metrics as defined by warehouse leadership, including safety, culture, customer needs, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Maintain the safety and security of all associates and follow established safety procedures at all times.
- Report to work on time and as scheduled, maintaining reliable attendance.
- Support key warehouse areas as assigned, including general labor and production-related tasks.
- Perform order picking, packing, and packaging tasks in line with operational standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading activities as needed to support warehouse operations.
- Complete all other duties as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Essential Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate using both verbal and nonverbal methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues in warehouse operations.
- Basic computer and data entry skills, including use of Warehouse Management Systems.
- Basic math skills to support order verification, counting, and inventory accuracy.
- Experience or capability in inventory handling, picking, packing, and packaging tasks.
- Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Capacity to perform general labor and production-related tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to support loading activities and handle materials safely.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Comfort working with RF scanner technology and other warehouse equipment.
- Experience in order picking and packaging within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse processes such as receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple warehouse areas to expand skills and flexibility.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse environment that may involve varying temperatures, including warm and cool areas. You will routinely use equipment such as handheld scanners, RF scanners, forklifts, utility knives, ladders, machinery, and tape guns. The work setting includes exposure to bright lighting, blue light from computer screens, and repetitive low to mid-volume sounds such as forklift traffic and packaging machines. You may also work around various metals and other warehouse materials while following established safety guidelines.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Neenah, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
