Job Title: Welder / Fabricator
Job Description
Join a custom metal fabrication shop where you will build a variety of custom weldments from various material including aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel materials based on projects. Projects may including enclosures, frameworks for equipment, components for the marine industry, and other material handling systems. You will be working from blueprints to ensure work is completed accurately.
Schedule: Multiple shifts available including 1st shift
Wage: $26.00 to $33.00+/hr to get started based on experience
Responsibilities
- Worked from blueprints and engineered drawings to complete work to specifications
- MIG weld structural mild steel materials as well as aluminum.
- TIG welded occasional projects out of stainless steel and aluminum
- Fit parts according to blueprints to ensure weldments are built accurately
- Inspected and grind finished welds
Requirements:
- 1-2+ years of professional welding experience OR technical diploma required
- Experience with MIG and TIG processes preferred
- Experience with TIG welding aluminum and stainless steel preferred
This is a Permanent position based out of Oshkosh, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
