Budget Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of short- and long-term budget documents, ensuring that commodity, supply, equipment, and maintenance expenditures are in the best interest of EBMUD. The Position Under general supervision, and through subordinate Senior Mechanics, the Equipment Supervisor evaluates and directs the activities of journey level mechanics engaged in maintaining, modifying, overhauling, and repairing automobiles, light or heavy trucks, off-road construction equipment and small tools and equipment. Equipment Supervisor

The Position East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) invites qualified persons to apply for this part-time position in the Mokelumne Recreation Unit of the Natural Resources Department. The part-time Recreation Area Attendant will work 20-40 hrs per week between April 1 and Oct. 1 (832 hours maximum per year) and will be primarily responsible for conducting vessel inspections of boats entering Camanche Reservoir as part of EBMUD's Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Program. Other duties may include assisting EBMUD rangers in the operations and maintenance of EBMUD's recreation areas. The selected candidate MUST be able to swim, perform physically demanding tasks, deal effectively with the public during challenging contacts, and work in adverse weather as required. The current part-time opening is in the Camanche Reservoir area, in the town of Valley Springs approximately 35 miles east of Stockton. The Position The Plant Electrical Maintenance Supervisor plans, directs and evaluates shop and field activities of electrical maintenance personnel at a large regional wastewater treatment plant and satellite facilities. The activities include maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and electronic equipment. Responsibilities include: &bull; Planning, directing, training, and evaluating the work of a staff of seven electricians. &bull; Evaluating and administering contract work. &bull; Coordinating a wide variety of electrical maintenance activities. &bull; Developing and implementing preventive maintenance and safety programs. The Position The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist II (EHSS II) develops and implements programs and projects designed to ensure compliance with health and safety, emergency preparedness regulations and standards, and protocols.
