Responsibilities The Data Engineer, Data Management is a member of NISA's Data Engineering team responsible for creating, updating, and supporting ETL/ELT data pipelines for a variety of stakeholders across the enterprise. They will define, design, develop, unit test, and support new and existing solutions to meet complicated and time-sensitive business requirements. In addition, the Data Engineer supports and manages high-severity production incident resolution, performs code reviews, and participates in on-call rotations. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment and have the skills to troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues independently. Qualifications <ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or relevant work experience required </li><li> 3+years of experience with ETL/ELT </li><li> 3+ years of experience with SQL </li><li> Experience with Python, C#, or similar high-level language </li><li> Experience with AWS, AWS Lambda, S3, Airflow, and related technologies </li><li> Professional work experience with Databricks or PySpark </li><li> Demonstrated team player who works well in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines </li><li> Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills, along with a solid attention to detail. </li><li> Excellent customer support skills </li></ul> Preferred Experience: <ul><li> Microsoft SQL Server database development </li><li> SSIS development </li><li> Working knowledge of BPA Automate or a similar business automation tool </li><li> Developing software in an Agile environment </li></ul> NISA's culture encourages collaboration and innovation. Responsibilities The Actuarial Specialist, Investment Strategies works in a collaborative and team-oriented environment providing research and various quantitative and analytical functions for the Investment Strategies team. Projects frequently involve actuarial analysis, asset-liability risk assessment, portfolio management, computer programming, and Monte Carlo simulation for some of the largest institutional investors in the world. The Actuarial Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining reliability and quality of analysis. They are expected to be able to explain and communicate such complex analysis as well as prepare reports and presentations to demonstrate their work. Qualifications <ul><li> Bachelor's degree in a field requiring strong analytical and quantitative skills (e.g. Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, or Financial Engineering) is preferred </li><li> Actuarial credentials strongly preferred. Actuarial experience, particularly with defined benefit pension plans, required </li><li> Familiarity with PPA, ASC 715, GASB 67/68, and defined benefit plan funding is required </li><li> Experience with defined benefit valuations or investment consulting preferred </li><li> Strong interest in financial markets / economics </li></ul> NISA's culture encourages collaboration and innovation.
