First, What is a MOS code translator?
For those unfamiliar, a MOS code translator is a tool that takes your military occupational specialty, your Navy rate, your Air Force AFSC, or your Coast Guard rating, and turns it into civilian skills that employers understand.
What separates one translator from another is how much of your record it reads. Some look at your MOS code and nothing else. Others read your rank and a few secondary duties on top of that. A good military service translator should look at everything you bring: your branch, occupation code, rank, years of service, the duties you took on beyond your primary role, and the certifications you earned. The right translation comes from the whole picture, not a single line, and that’s just what Rank2Role does.
