What's New on the CareerCircle Job Board
We've made a series of updates to the CareerCircle job board to help you find the right opportunities faster and easier. From smarter filters to a brand-new way to spot jobs where STARs are already succeeding, these changes are built to put your skills in front of the employers who need them.
Here's a video on what's new.
Recent Searches - 1:09
Your five most recent searches now appear right under the search bar. Jump back into a previous search with a single click, without retyping the details every time.
New Search Filters - 1:29
You can now filter jobs by work setting: in person, hybrid, or remote. We've also added a date filter, so you can narrow results to jobs posted in the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or all time.
Promoted Jobs - 2:03
Promoted jobs highlight roles where an employer is urgently hiring, so you can prioritize the opportunities most likely to move quickly. Only promoted jobs that are relevant to your search will appear in your search results, keeping your feed focused on the right matches.
Job Search Card Preview - 2:43
A new preview panel sits alongside your search results, so you can see the details of a job without clicking into it. The panel shows which of your skills, pulled from your resume, match the role, along with the posted date and salary (if available). Skim, compare, and decide what to apply to with everything you need on one screen.
STARs-Friendly Job Tag - 3:56
The update we're most excited to share is STARs-Friendly job tag, a new feature that flags jobs that are a strong fit for STARs directly in your search results.
Here's how it works. CareerCircle uses data from Opportunity@Work to identify roles where STARs find success, based on two criteria:
-
25% or more of people in that role are STARs
-
The role is classified by Opportunity@Work as either an origin role (great for entering a field) or a gateway role (ideal for advancing a career)
These labels take the guesswork out of the search. Instead of sifting through hundreds of listings and wondering whether a degree requirement will be a dealbreaker, STARs can quickly spot opportunities where people skilled through alternative routes are already succeeding.
