This role is non-exempt and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States.  What You’ll Do: Be a Proactive Community Ambassador<ul><li>Enthusiastically represent TurboTax locally, serving as a fixture and public face of TurboTax in the community.</li><li>Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients through proactive outreach.</li><li>Lead and participate with the support of TurboTax in local marketing, making the topic of taxes accessible and approachable. </li></ul> Provide Tax Expertise <ul><li>Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). </li><li>Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. </li><li>Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language. </li></ul> Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience<ul><li>Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals (e.g., saving for retirement, college funds, weddings, or vacations). </li><li>Connect with people to build the long-term trust that turns a one-time transaction into a loyal, multi-year relationship.</li><li>Interact with customers both in-person and through Intuit’s state-of-the-art video communication tools. </li><li>Address client inquiries while helping them overcome tax-related challenges.</li></ul> What You Get: As a TurboTax - Retail Expert, you’ll receive access to exceptional company benefits and resources, including: 401(k) Savings Plan with company matching, paid sick time, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, E&O Insurance provided by Intuit, Employee Assistance Programdiscounts on Intuit products including a free copy of TurboTax, ongoing collaboration opportunities with TurboTax’s network of growth-minded professionals and marketing support  Key QualificationsWho You Are:<ul><li>Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred. </li><li>Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.</li><li>Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.</li><li>Familiarity with Circular 230</li><li>Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand.</li><li>Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus</li><li>Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing</li><li>Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform</li><li>Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment</li></ul> Attributes & Skills: <ul><li>Passionate about empowering customers and helping them overcome the complexities of taxation.</li><li>Passionate about your local community and excited to work with Intuit to engage with and build Intuit’s presence in your local community (e.g., speaking at events, building a local and online social presence, creating content such as tax tips and educational videos). </li><li>Entrepreneurial and self-driven with a business ownership mindset to grow your customer portfolio.</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills, high empathy, and a friendly, professional demeanor.</li><li>Excited to be showcased as a TurboTax Expert in local and national marketing efforts.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently while managing multiple priorities.</li><li>Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.</li></ul> Additional Requirements:Must reside within the United States.Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
