Job Description
The Electrical Assembler builds and assembles wire harnesses and electrical components used in electro-mechanical equipment. This role focuses on routing and tying wires, performing crimping operations, and completing electrical assemblies while following blueprints and schematics to ensure high-quality and reliable products.
Responsibilities
- Route and tie wires to form wire harnesses used in electro-mechanical equipment according to specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
- Perform electrical assembly tasks, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires and cables.
- Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies with attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
- Use crimping tools and other hand tools safely and accurately to complete electrical connections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to assemble components correctly.
- Test wiring continuity using a continuity tester or similar tools to verify proper connections and functionality.
- Inspect completed assemblies and harnesses for workmanship, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and quality procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, with a preference for 3+ years of hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in electrical assembly, including routing, tying, and securing wires and cables.
- Experience with wire harness and cable assembly in an electro-mechanical or similar manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform precise crimping using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with testing wiring continuity using a continuity tester or similar equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Eligibility to work on ITAR-regulated projects, meeting all applicable requirements.
- Three or more years of electrical assembly or wire harness assembly experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing or production environment.
- Comfort using hand tools and basic test equipment in a production setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within set deadlines.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in daily work.

Work Environment
This is a first-shift role with working hours from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in a production and assembly environment focused on electro-mechanical equipment. You will work at an individual workstation or bench using hand tools, crimping tools, and continuity testers, and regularly handle wires, cables, and electrical components. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, with established procedures and documentation to guide daily tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
