Events Coordinator (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance the employee experience by orchestrating seamless events and creating engaging workplace environments. The role requires a dynamic professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and organizational excellence. As the driving force behind event coordination and space management, this individual will be responsible for transforming ordinary workspaces into vibrant, functional environments that foster collaboration and community. The position demands a proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-paced settings and can pivot quickly to meet evolving needs while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute comprehensive event planning activities including room bookings, setup configurations, catering arrangements, and audiovisual capabilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations for workplace experience initiatives across multiple locations
  • Provide continuous support for large-scale groups requiring dedicated conference space and ongoing assistance
  • Organize and facilitate social experiences that enhance employee engagement and workplace culture
  • Maintain organized records management systems and handle basic bookkeeping functions
  • Prepare and process invoices, reports, correspondence, financial statements, and other administrative documents
  • Respond to routine inquiries and manage incoming correspondence including emails and other communications
  • Order supplies and ensure operational needs are met efficiently
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements throughout each workday
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 8-10 years of relevant administrative or coordination experience
  • 8+ years of event management experience
  • 8+ years of program management experience
  • 5+ years of executive management support experience
  • Demonstrated history of stable, long-term employment tenure
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management capabilities
  • Outstanding customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in maintaining confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
  • Self-starter mentality with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
Additional Details:
  • Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
  • Duration: 4 months
  • Pay Range*: $28.50 - $32.50
  • Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
  • Job Status: Non-Exempt
