Provide overall leadership for on-site field administration, supervision, and technical management for all construction operations. This includes direct supervision of assistants, foremen, subcontractors, and other construction-related personnel. You will be responsible for offering technical and hands-on assistance to all members of the project team, directing them in planning, coordination, and execution of work on time and within budget. The role requires maintaining a safe workplace, promoting and enhancing client relationships, and the company image.
Responsibilities- Understand all trade contractor’s means and methods in accordance with project needs.
- Coordinate daily construction activities within existing operating facilities.
- Understand local labor requirements, availability, and capability for self-perform work.
- Demonstrate competency in managing site activity, labor relations, and union agreements.
- Anticipate and resolve field-related issues.
- Establish and enforce site schedule requirements.
- Manage site safety and insurance risks.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
- Provide leadership in construction management.
- Proficiency in construction management and administration.
- Experience in commercial construction and project coordination.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and construction trades.
- Competence in carpentry and construction supervision.
