Job Description
This role focuses on accurately packing materials in a warehouse environment using RF scanning equipment. You will prepare products for shipment by carefully packing, sealing, labeling, and staging orders while consistently handling packages weighing 30–50 lbs and standing for extended periods throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Use an RF scanner to locate, pick, and pack materials according to order specifications.
- Pack items securely, ensuring accuracy, proper placement, and protection of products during transit.
- Seal, label, and prepare shipments in accordance with established procedures and documentation requirements.
- Handle and move packages weighing 30–50 lbs safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Stand and work on your feet for 8 or more hours per day in a warehouse environment.
- Load and stage completed orders for shipment or further processing.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent errors in packing, labeling, and order fulfillment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures while operating RF scanners and handling materials.
- Support general labor tasks as needed to keep the workflow running smoothly.
- Ability to lift and carry 30–50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for 8 or more hours per day.
- Experience with picking, packing, and loading in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Familiarity with using an RF scanner for order picking and packing tasks.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packing, labeling, and shipment preparation.
- Reliability and consistency in following established processes and safety procedures.
- 1–2 years of packing experience preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in general labor or warehouse roles.
- Comfort working in a structured manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Willingness to learn and be cross-trained in additional areas as needed.

Work Environment
You will work in a very clean, temperature-controlled warehouse environment designed to support efficient and comfortable manufacturing and logistics operations. The role is based outside the main manufacturing room, with regular use of RF scanners and other standard warehouse equipment. The setting emphasizes organization, safety, and a professional atmosphere while you perform packing, picking, and loading tasks throughout your shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
