This role is perfect for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys blueprint reading, working with tools, and seeing finished products come together.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble electrical switchgear cabinets using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Gather materials and components needed for each build
- Construct steel cabinet frames and copper bus assemblies
- Use measuring tools to ensure accurate builds and proper fit
- Perform basic quality checks to ensure high standards are met
- Follow clear work instructions and safety guidelines
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, machine building, or automotive repair
- Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics
- Comfortable using hand and power tools (drills, impact wrenches, etc.)
- Basic math skills (fractions, measurements)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
