Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Join our dynamic steel production facility as a Maintenance Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our laser machines. This position involves working closely with our lead technician, making collaboration and a willingness to learn essential attributes.
We also have a unique opportunity for anyone more entry-level to gain industrial maintenance experience. Anyone with industrial maintenance schooling, light experience, or a strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting experience would be a great candidate. Will be training to become a higher-level full-fledged maintenance technician.
This entry-level role would be on a night shift paying low $20s and in a different, nearby facility

Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair laser machines.
- Assist lead technician in daily operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair laser equipment.
- Perform electrical repairs up to 480V.
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Execute welding tasks using Mig or Stick methods.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- 5+ years of mechanically inclined work experience.
- 1+ years of troubleshooting and repairing laser equipment.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Welding experience, Mig or Stick.
- Electrical repair skills up to 480V.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Organized and self-motivated.

Work Environment
Work at a steel production facility located in Kansas City, MO, which is not climate controlled. The work shift is from 10 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, within a team of three technicians.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
