Job Description
Assemble metal parts and sub‑assemblies by following drawings, measurements, and instructions. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and tape measures to ensure accuracy and precision in building components. Support the team by moving and staging materials to maintain the production schedule. Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet standards before progressing. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Collaborate with welders, machine operators, and leads to ensure smooth production flow. Enter basic information into the system for tracking and quality purposes.
Responsibilities

- Use hand tools, power tools, and tape measures accurately.
- Assist in moving and staging materials to keep production on schedule.
- Perform quality checks on parts to meet standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with welders, machine operators, and leads.
- Enter basic tracking and quality information into the system.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Proficiency in using basic tools like a hammer, drill, or wrench.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in construction is a plus but not required.
- Experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, or light industry.
- Education in trades like HVAC, pipe fitting, electrical, fabrication, or welding is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Good work ethic and reliability.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Randolph, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
