This role focuses on the professional installation of high-quality custom millwork products, including cabinetry, trim, doors, windows, and specialty woodwork in both residential and commercial settings. The Millwork Installer takes pride in craftsmanship, collaborates effectively with project teams, and consistently delivers precise, high-quality work that meets demanding standards.
Responsibilities- Install custom millwork products such as cabinets, built-ins, molding, doors, windows, and architectural details in residential and commercial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation plans to ensure accurate and efficient installations.
- Measure, cut, and modify materials on-site for precise fitting and seamless integration with existing structures.
- Verify that all installations are level, secure, and completed in accordance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to support smooth project execution and clear communication.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and make necessary adjustments to resolve issues and maintain quality.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites throughout the duration of each project.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently while following established procedures.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and job site safety requirements at all times.
- 2+ years of millwork, finish carpentry, or related installation experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools used in millwork and finish carpentry.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and technical installation plans.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work in various job site conditions.
- Active and valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation to travel to different job sites as needed.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
- Capability to work in both residential and commercial construction environments.
- Background check required.
- Experience with cabinet installation, cabinet making, and finish carpentry.
- Familiarity with framing and commercial construction environments.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for precise installation work.
- Experience with remodeling projects and custom woodworking.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients.

Schedules are typically aligned with standard construction hours, with an emphasis on maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas. Attire is practical and suitable for construction and carpentry work, including appropriate protective gear and adherence to job site safety requirements.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saco, ME.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
