Job Description
This role supports manufacturing and processing operations by operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, assisting with packaging and material handling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and play a critical role in ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and safety within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment, batching systems, and processing lines to maintain consistent output.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and equipment adjustments to support continuous production flow.
- Inspect products for quality, including checking weight, labeling, and packaging accuracy.
- Record production data such as output volumes, quality check results, and downtime events in an accurate and timely manner.
- Support packaging operations by sealing, labeling, and preparing finished goods for shipment.
- Palletize finished products, ensuring correct counts, proper stacking, and secure loads.
- Use material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), to safely move materials and finished goods.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas, following all sanitation and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company procedures at all times.
- Assist with line changeovers, including setup, adjustment, and breakdown of equipment as needed.
- At least 2 years of experience in a production, assembly, or general labor environment (as indicated by the requirement for 2+ years of relevant background).
- Experience operating production or mechanical assembly equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to perform basic mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting on production lines.
- Proficiency in using basic measuring tools, such as a tape measure, to verify product dimensions or setup accuracy.
- Experience with packaging activities, including sealing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, safety procedures, and GMP standards.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating or fixed shifts, including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift schedules.
- Experience using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks; forklift experience is a plus, especially with certification.
- background in mechanical assembly or production assembly work.
- Comfort performing general labor tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials.
- Attention to detail when inspecting products for weight, labeling, and packaging accuracy.
- Strong record-keeping skills for documenting production output, quality checks, and downtime.
- Flexibility to assist with line changeovers, equipment setup, and breakdown.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with sanitation standards.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing and processing facility that operates multiple production lines in a fast-paced environment. Work involves standing for extended periods, operating production and batching equipment, and handling packaging materials. Shifts are structured across three schedules: 1st shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.), 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.), and 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). You will work around mechanical equipment, packaging lines, and material handling tools such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified). The facility follows strict safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and employees are expected to maintain clean work areas and adhere to all sanitation standards. Appropriate work attire suitable for a production environment is required, consistent with safety and hygiene expectations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
