Responsible for picking parts from the warehouse to support the Production teams. Employees will move throughout the warehouse, predominantly on foot, to locate and retrieve the required parts. Once picked, the parts will be placed on carts, pallets, or tuggers to be brought onto the production floor.
Responsibilities- Picking parts from the warehouse for production orders.
- Utilizing pallet jacks and carts to navigate the shop floor while picking orders and organizing products.
- Using lifts to pick parts that are on higher shelves. Must be comfortable with heights.
- Assisting the receiving team in checking and replenishing parts inventory.
- Walking up to 5 miles or 10,000 steps per day.
- Training and certification on a stand-up forklift, though not a regular operation.
- Material handling experience.
- Order picking and stocking experience.
- Comfortable with using a pallet jack.
- Experience with unloading and picking tasks.
- Must be comfortable with heights for occasional lift operation.
- Minimum of 6+ months of recent warehouse experience.
- Comfortable walking up to 5 miles a day.
- Able to be trained and operate warehouse equipment such as Stand Up Forklift, Lifts, and Tuggers.
- Physically capable of working in a fast-paced environment, standing all day in steel-toe shoes, and lifting up to 50 lbs, though typically lifting 20-30 lbs.

Work EnvironmentThe position is located in a large, clean warehouse setting. While the production floor may get hot during the summer due to lack of temperature control, the warehouse is equipped with giant fans and is temperature controlled, though it can still get warm. Employees are expected to wear steel-toe shoes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.85 - $22.85/hr.
