Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and other shop equipment. Machine, fabricate, and modify parts to precise specifications and tolerances. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Perform layout work and determine machining sequences for one-off and custom components. Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools. Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments during production. Deburr, finish, and prepare components for assembly. Work closely with welders, fabricators, assemblers, and engineers to support custom equipment builds. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area. Assist with equipment maintenance and shop improvement initiatives as needed.

- Experience with manual lathes, mills, Bridgeport, and other manual machining tools.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Troubleshooting skills for machining issues.
- Experience in drill press, shear, mechanical, and machine operating.
- Ability to perform grinding and change over tasks.
- At least 1 year of manual machining experience.
- 6 months of experience with blueprints.
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds with assistance when necessary.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
