Job Title: Driver
Job Description
This role involves safely operating a box truck to deliver products from customer to customer, performing loading and unloading, and supporting basic installation and assembly work. You will ensure timely and accurate deliveries while following safety procedures, using appropriate equipment, and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition.
Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck to and from customer locations in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
- Load and unload products using proper equipment and safe lifting techniques to prevent damage and injury.
- Perform basic installation and assembly of delivered items as needed at customer sites.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, checking for safety, mechanical, and operational issues.
- Report any vehicle discrepancies, defects, or maintenance needs to the appropriate fleet maintenance personnel.
- Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport and prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Use forklifts and other material handling equipment, when required and authorized, to move inventory and products.
- Assist with general labor tasks related to delivery, staging, and setup of products.
- Support inventory handling by accurately loading, unloading, and verifying products against delivery documentation.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic regulations while representing the organization in a professional manner at customer sites.
Essential Skills
- At least 6 months of driving experience with a box truck or other commercial vehicle.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record that can pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- Proven ability to safely operate a box truck in various traffic, weather, and road conditions.
- Experience with loading and unloading trucks using proper equipment and safe lifting techniques.
- Capability to perform basic installation and assembly tasks at customer locations.
- Ability to conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and identify potential issues.
- Comfort working in a physically active role that includes lifting, carrying, and moving products.
- Strong attention to safety and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with furniture or equipment installation is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor when working at customer sites.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic with an interest in long-term growth and advancement.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
