Job Title: Roofer
Job Description
This role focuses on the installation, construction, and repair of steel roofing and TPO and EPDM membrane systems. You will diagnose and repair roof leaks, work with a variety of hand tools, and ensure each job site is left clean and safe at the end of the workday. The position requires consistent physical activity, including lifting materials up to 50 pounds throughout the day, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install TPO membrane roofing systems, including all related components and details.
- Install EPDM membrane roofing systems, ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing.
- Build, install, and repair steel roofing and associated flashings to specification.
- Measure, cut, and fit metal roofing materials to size as needed for each project.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot roof leak issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Perform repairs on existing steel roofing and membrane systems to resolve leaks and damage.
- Use a variety of hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently during installation and repair work.
- Lift and carry roofing materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, including debris removal and proper disposal of materials.
- Follow safety procedures and best practices while working at heights and in outdoor environments.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards.
- Adapt to changing job requirements, including staying late or working occasional Saturdays to complete projects.
Essential Skills
- At least 4 years of experience working with steel roofing systems.
- Hands-on experience installing and working with TPO roofing membrane systems.
- Hands-on experience installing and working with EPDM roofing membrane systems.
- Proficiency in building, installing, and repairing steel roofing and flashings.
- Ability to accurately cut and fit metal roofing materials to size.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving roof leak issues.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
- Proficiency using a variety of hand tools in a construction or roofing environment.
- Prior experience in roofing, siding, construction, or related fields.
- Ability to work productively outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability in working a Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility for occasional extended hours.

- Experience in farming or agricultural construction environments.

Work Environment
This is a field-based role working outdoors on roofing projects in a variety of weather conditions. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the flexibility to stay late when needed to complete a job or to work occasional Saturdays. The work is physically demanding and involves regular lifting of materials up to 50 pounds, frequent use of hand tools, and working at heights on steel roofing and membrane systems. The environment is production-oriented, with a focus on completing projects safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
