Job Description
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for processing all orders with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring alignment with special instructions and company policies. You will manage customer orders for assigned plants, advising customers of any changes that may impact their expectations.
Responsibilities
- Process all customer orders efficiently and accurately, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Manage customer orders for assigned plants with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communicate any changes or impacts on customer expectations promptly.
- Provide support in sales activities and order entry tasks.
- Engage with customers to ensure satisfactory account management.
- 3-4 years of customer service experience within a manufacturing company, particularly in metals/materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manipulate data for daily/weekly reports.
- Experience with ERP databases.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Strong background in customer service, account management, purchase order processing, logistics, manufacturing, and sales support.
This position is primarily remote following an initial two-week onsite training in Concord. Employees must reside within 50 miles of the location due to occasional in-person training and office events. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
