Maintenance Mechanic / Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: High Point, NC
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:15 PM
Friday: 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Mechanic to support operations in High Point, NC. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment, facilities, and grounds. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with preventive and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and working on a variety of industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery including conveyors, compressors, pneumatic tools, sanders, saws, and ovens
- Work on a variety of production equipment and industrial machinery
- Complete minor welding tasks as needed
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures
- Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and equipment histories
- Implement and follow preventive maintenance programs for equipment, buildings, and fleet
- Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Respond quickly to emergency repair situations to minimize downtime
- Follow and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment repairs
- Ability to perform minor welding
- Experience working with production/manufacturing equipment
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and maintenance software/log systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical training or trade school education
- Experience with CMMS systems (such as Limble or similar)
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Fleet maintenance experience
