Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Associate – Conveyor Roller Assembly
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling and handling conveyor rollers used in high-speed packaging machines, supporting general production, inventory, and shipping activities on the 2nd shift. You will contribute to efficient production processes, accurate order fulfillment, and organized inventory management in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble conveyor rollers and related components used in high-speed packaging equipment according to production specifications and quality standards.
- Perform general production tasks, including operating basic production equipment, monitoring workflows, and supporting continuous production processes.
- Handle packaging and labeling of finished products to ensure accurate identification, presentation, and readiness for shipment.
- Support inventory activities by counting, organizing, and tracking materials and finished goods to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Assist with shipping operations, including preparing orders, using shipping software, and staging products for outbound shipments.
- Follow established production processes and work instructions to maintain consistency, safety, and efficiency on the production floor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring materials, tools, and products are stored properly and safely.
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting additional tasks or staying after the scheduled shift when needed to meet production or shipping demands.
- Pay close attention to details to identify errors in labeling, packaging, inventory counts, and product quality, and promptly report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, including around open dock doors.
Essential Skills
- Experience in general production or manufacturing environments, including familiarity with production processes.
- Hands-on experience with assembly work, ideally involving mechanical components or packaging-related equipment.
- Knowledge of basic inventory practices, such as counting, organizing, and tracking materials and finished goods.
- Experience supporting shipping operations, including packaging, labeling, and order preparation.
- Ability to use or learn shipping software to process and track outbound orders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, materials, and workflows efficiently.
- Flexibility and ability to work beyond the scheduled shift when required by production or shipping needs.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in assembly, packaging, labeling, and inventory records.

- Comfort working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
- Ability to work effectively on a 2nd shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing and warehouse facility where conveyor rollers for high-speed packaging machines are produced. The environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, and you may be somewhat exposed to the elements when dock doors are open. The role is on the 2nd shift, working approximately 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, supporting production, assembly, inventory, and shipping activities. Daytime office hours are typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for other functions within the facility.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
