Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Control Panel Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical control panels for conveyor and material handling systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels for conveyor and material handling systems.
- Perform point-to-point wiring of electrical components, including relays, switches, terminal blocks, and sensors.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to complete assemblies.
- Install and connect motors, push buttons, sensors, and other electrical components.
- Route and secure wiring within panels, wire trays, and conduit systems.
- Verify materials and ensure all electrical components are installed per specifications prior to shipment.
- Perform functional testing and quality inspections to ensure proper operation of systems.
- Troubleshoot wiring issues, electrical faults, and component failures.
- Collaborate with mechanical assemblers, engineers, and controls teams to complete builds.
Essential Skills
- Experience working with conveyor systems or material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of low-voltage and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience with wiring, sensors, or control systems.
- Electro-mechanical assembly experience (mechanical and electrical).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Soldering or fabrication experience.
- Skills in automation, electrical, mechanical, and robotics.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will interact with various teams including mechanical assemblers, engineers, and controls teams. The position may require working with various technologies and equipment, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining a clean workspace. Appropriate personal protective equipment will be provided as needed.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
