The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in process instrumentation, hands-on project leadership experience, and the ability to interface confidently with clients.Responsibilities<ul><li>Serve as Lead Instrumentation Engineer on client projects, owning instrumentation scope and technical execution.</li><li>Gather and analyze process and technical data to develop complete instrumentation design packages, including instrument lists and I/O lists, instrument specifications and data sheets, procurement submittals, and vendor coordination.</li><li>Prepare operation &amp; maintenance documentation, training materials, and related design documentation.</li><li>Specify, procure, and calibrate process instruments, including flow, level, temperature, pressure, and analytical instruments.</li><li>Act as the primary technical interface with customers on instrumentation-related topics.</li><li>Coordinate and communicate effectively with project teams, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.</li><li>Perform basic field commissioning and startup activities related to instrumentation and process control systems.</li><li>Direct, review, and check the work of designers and engineers to ensure quality and adherence to standards.</li></ul>Essential Skills<ul><li>Bachelor of Science in a related engineering field (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics preferred).</li><li>3+ years of experience specifying, procuring, and calibrating process instrumentation.</li><li>Solid knowledge of all facets of process instrumentation, including working with PLC programs and operator interface (HMI) software.</li><li>Ability to read and develop P&amp;IDs, instrument loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel layout drawings.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).</li></ul>Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of relevant instrumentation engineering experience.</li><li>Familiarity with Autodesk CAD software.</li><li>PLC configuration experience.</li></ul>Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves collaboration with internal and external teams, and the use of advanced technologies and equipment related to instrumentation.
