Description The Digital Modernization Sector has a career opportunity for a Field Service Engineer supporting the Global Solutions Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at DISA. This contract includes the Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). It also includes support to other key tasks for DISA, including the transformation of DISA's operational mission through innovation, and support to DISA's mission partners. Description We have an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Field Service Engineer to lead a team and provide technical support for complex systems' survey, development, procurement, installation, test, deployment, and sustainment. As a Engineer in this program, you will be a leader and a team member that interacts with technical and non-technical teammates, including customers and vendors. You will be considered a subject matter expert in all things related to the timing and synchronization network- including Transport, I.P., and D.C. power infrastructure in multiple environments. Role SummaryThe Managed File Transfer (MFT) Engineer – L3 provides day‑to‑day operational support for enterprise file transfer platforms.
