Cable Installation / Low Volt Technician - Day Shift

<h2>Job Description</h2>We are seeking several Installation &amp; Cable Technicians for projects located in Ames, Des Moines, IA, and surrounding states. Some travel is required, and per diem is provided when traveling.Candidates must have at least 6 months of low-voltage experience. Individuals with relevant knowledge and hands-on technical schooling will also be considered.Technicians will be responsible for installing data racks and cabinets, Cat6 and coax cable, faceplates, and will test and label cabling. Additional duties include assisting with the setup of DirecTV cable boxes, modems, and satellite dishes in individual rooms, as well as helping build out server closets for network installations.Work will take place both indoors and outdoors in school and apartment building environments. Occasional tasks may include digging trenches and performing directional drilling. Cable Installation Technician

We’re looking for a hands‑on low‑voltage technician who wants to grow into the wireless infrastructure side of the industry. As a DAS Installer, you’ll work on in‑building wireless systems that improve cellular coverage for major carriers. 					NTT is a large international integrator. Their customer is Google and this work will be done at Google Datacenters at 2 locations. Both are within 30 minutes of Stamford, TX. It's a small town so can't be too far from one another. Addresses are 1362 Red Creed Road and SW Corner of Loop Road and Bean Road in Stamford, TX. NTT is supporting the "High Fiber Project" For Google. They are replacing all the existing COAX cable with Fiber. Candidates will be required to pull high volumes of fiber and terminate this fiber. 

These positions are officially long term contract positions but could be CTH depending on the work load and the candidates performance.

There are several Google Datacenters in each market so candidates will need to be able to travel to multiple sites depending on where the work is.

This is 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.
